When did you return to work post partum?

Hi! 
My L.O is 3 months and at the moment I'm due to go back to work in January, when he will be 5 months. I was planning to extend by 3 more months so I can sort childcare properly and I'm scared to go back so soon, even tho by extending I I only get 25of my salary. How did you all feel going back and what did you do? Just would like to hear your experiences!

First baby I went back right at 12 weeks; was only paid for 10 of those.
Second baby I’ll be going back at 14 weeks; it is fully paid because I’ve saved up my leave. I have an additional 2 weeks of paid leave that I’m saving for an emergency. We are still without child care for the little one so I might have to delay going back until 16 weeks.

Going back at 6 weeks, got bills to pay and mouths to feed 😩. Would love to have 6 months off!

My first I went back at 8 weeks, it wasn’t bad. I’m a better mom when im working. With my 2nd I ended up having like 6 months off because we moved across the country and it took me a bit to find a job. I loved being home with my kids but I love working too. Now pregnant with my 3rd and I will take 3-4 months off but then return, but I work from home so it makes it even easier

I got 6 weeks at 40% of my salary and extended it to 12 with 0 pay. If you can extend it, keep any amount of pay and have the job security, I’d 100% extend
