Is this weird to tell your soon to be ex husband?

My husband and I are divorcing after a year of being married to unfaithfulness and disloyalty. We both love each other so much but we both decided it’s best if we divorce. He has too many personal issues he needs to fix before ever being married. We both agreed on that. I love this man with my heart and soul. 
I have to ask, is it weird to hope that someday we will be together again? Not even married cause that’s ridiculous nor do I ever want to marry another man again. But he said himself he hopes one day he can win me back. A part of me feels that we will be together one day again. Idk if any of this makes sense but is it weird it I told him I hope too one day we can come back together?

It sounds like you both still have very strong feelings for each other however you have to be okay with the idea that you may not have him back one day if you go through with the divorce.
If not, you’ll be left with bitterness and resent if/when he moves on. 
So I think it’s important you come to terms with that. 
But you mention that the entire relationship was unfaithfulness and dishonesty. Do you feel that’s something you can talk out or maybe even take some time apart (I know that may be a long shot)? 
Just some food for thought. 
But to answer your question. Yes it is normal to hope but you also should understand that what you hope may not happen.
