So my boyfriend and a friend of his live together. My boyfriend and I are wanting to move in together but his friend doesn’t want me to live there for whatever reason. The friend is also moving away at any point in time and still wasn’t cool with it which is whatever since he has a right to his own opinion. Anyways my boyfriend wants us to start looking for places but their lease isn’t up until sometime around July. They are both on the lease so what would happen if my boyfriend and I find a place? Like how would the whole lease thing work since they’re both on it. Also my bf did say that he had an agreement with the company that when his roommate leaves he can be taken off the lease and someone else could be put on. The roommate is trying to sell his house and won’t leave until he does that or in someway finds a job where he plans on moving (not sure how this will happen when we live on the other side of the country). I also told my boyfriend we could wait but he said he doesn’t think it’s fair that I have to do a lot of driving in order for us to see each other (I live with my parents) and there’s also no telling how long it will take for his friend to sell the house
