Pain under ribs? Even though baby is low down

I experienced pain under my ribs a couple of months back when baby girl was still high up but since then she has moved down and the pain and kicks etc has all been down low. The last few days iv been getting pain high under my ribs again and its PAINFUL! Iv read this could be a sign of pre eclampsia but all my previous checks and blood pressure has been fine up till now. I see my midwife in a few days so will mention it to her then but has this happened to anyone else and been fine?
