Would it be annoying to take my kids with me to a car dealership?

I’ve got 2 kids and nobody to watch them while I go to a dealership. I’ve been trying to go for months so I can get a car big enough for my 3rd baby that’s on the way. I don’t know if it’s like looked down upon to bring kids to a dealership. I’m probably just overthinking it 🙃

I think it really depends on the kids if your kids are easy and patient then I don't see the problem. If on the other hand you know that they will just run between the cars and you end up chasing them, then you will probably not get what you are looking for because you won't be able to concentrate.

The local dealership here has a playroom and wifi for keeping kids entertained. Theres even a car they can pretend to drive and play in.

I did with me. But it took hours and depending on how old they are they might not want to sit. They also had a play room for kids too.

We went as a family, when we we’re expecting our second. With our son we wanted to bring him along and see how it was getting him in and out of the vehicles, putting in the car seat etc. super common where I live for people to bring their kids along. 
I did call the dealerships beforehand and make sure it was ok, and about installing our car seat etc. they all said they are totally happy to have kids come and make sure the vehicle works for each family.

If they are well behaved kids and can sit still and be patient for awhile I wouldn’t worry about it

If you really have to go and don’t have a sitter, take them. They’ll get over it. We all do. 😂

Yes. It takes forever and a day to buy a car. Find a sitter. The kids will be bored out of their minds, and it will just stress you out more.

I brought my very well behaved infant when I bought a new car, but I would absolutely not bring him now at 2.5 yrs. It would be incredibly long and boring and I have no desire to sit through it myself, I certainly wouldn’t do it to him.
