Anyone had an in office D&C?

I am having a miscarriage (baby measured 6 weeks) and my OB wants to do the D&C in his office vs in the hospital and I am terrified as I won't be put under in his office. I am worried about how painful and traumatizing it will be in office on top of the trauma of losing baby already. Can anyone who had it done in office tell me how it was during and after and any advice? Dr said he feels he can get it out and done without th hassle of the hospital since baby is small.. the dr is going to send the baby to get chromosomal testing. i'm very stressed about it. thank you 😢
