Anyone do the blood test to find out the sex early?

This is my 4th pregnancy and I always waited for the 20week ultrasound to find out the gender but I’m so excited to find out early. Is it a blood test ? Does it happen at 10 weeks? Does insurance cover it?

With my first we did sneakpeek at 9 weeks, it was accurate. 
This time we did NIPT (panorama) at 10 weeks, we’re waiting for the results.

We did the NIPT blood test at 11 weeks, my doctor personally will do it anytime after 10. We also did it when I was pregnant with my daughter. It tells the chromosomes as well as the gender! Ours wasn’t completely covered but we only paid a little over $200 each time and I’m impatient so I thought it was worth it.

I did sneak peek with both babies and it said boy for both (I have yet to find out this baby’s gender). It was right with my son though. If you’re talking about the gender part for the NIPT test, I don’t think it’s completely covered by insurance because the gender is not for medical reasons

You can find out at 10 weeks via blood draw but the test is an NIPT. It test for genetic ambormalities it just has a nice side effect of being able to tell gender too. I am doing mine o. Friday.
