Old or new pregnancy? 🌈

Hi everyone, I had a miscarriage on 25th October. The top test is 3 weeks after that as instructed by my midwife. My husband and I have been trying again, today I’ve done the bottom 2 tests. How do I know if it’s a new pregnancy or if it’s still HCG over?

Did you get a negative test yet? After my miscarriage, it took my body 8 weeks to completely clear the HcG. I got a few negative tests on the cheap strips after about 4 weeks, but the FRERs tested positive for quite a while after that. I did the HcG levels test to make sure things were going down. You should have your Dr. order the levels test so you can see if things are going down (old pregnancy) or up (new pregnancy). Don't assume it's a new one until your doc agrees, otherwise it'll be extra hard if it's lingering HcG (ask me how I know)...

New pregnancy, the hcg levels appear stronger. If it was hcg from your miscarriage I’d expect a vvfl or a negative test by now. Congrats!
