Losing my mind/pity party

Any semblance of mental stability I had left, is now gone 😭 40+4. My ob couldn’t even reach my cervix to try a sweep yesterday. And I’ve been waiting 2 days for them to call with an induction date. This is baby #2, our last, and I just wanted to go into labor on my own. I had to be induced with my first baby. No loss of mucus plug, no contractions, still room for baby to drop.

Tried sex, it was horribly painful. Been eating pineapple, bouncing/rotating hips on an exercise ball. I asked my ob if there was anything else I could be doing to help at home. Her response? “If there was, we’d patent it.” Not the time for jokes, lady!
