Alright mommas. My almost 3 week old will not sleep in her bassinet. When she falls asleep on our arms we wait a little bit then lay her down. She sleeps in there for maybe 20-30 minutes then wakes up screaming and crying. Once we are holding her for a minute she’s back to sleep.

How are you getting your child to sleep in their bassinet?? We swaddle her, but she HATES having her arms swaddled. She spits out her paci.

We do not want to cosleep (not knocking anyone who does- we just personally do not want to do that). And we don’t want her getting used to sleeping with us holding her the whole time.

It’s just starting to creep up on me that I’m not sleeping since she isn’t sleeping bc if I’m holding her I don’t want to fall asleep.

Please help with any tips!! My first child was SO easy and slept by herself with no issues. I’m sure most people will say it takes time and to let them cry it out and self soothe, which I figure is the case. But anything else we will try as well!
