Breast feeding and tongue+lip tie

My son has tongue tie and lip tie as lactation consultant says. He is almost 8 weeks.

I’m having lot of pain while nursing and he has lot of gas and reflux. He is very uncomfortable with that and we weight him after nursing and he doesn’t get too much milk.

I’m afraid that the procedure don’t fix the issue and cause him discomfort. They say after the procedure I have to make him some stretching in his tongue with my fingers for some says.

I would like to know the experience of other families regarding this topic.

Last night after nursing him the milk that came from his mouth was pink so probably my blood because I was in pain.

They even explain me what type of tong tie he has but I honestly don’t see that in his tongue like other babies pic on the internet.

I’m hesitate on doing this but I’m at the same time am concern of his gases and his discomfort.
