Finished my advent calendar
Its 3 days late and I'm going to have to rush it to my Oma... but hey its an annual thing so she'll have it in time for next year.
(They're mixed up on purpose, like the little disposable advent calendars)

My Oma immigrated from Germany and the only tradition we had that linked back to our ancestry (my dad rejected it like a lot of first gen americans). Were the chocolate advent calendars she would buy us every December.
Now I made one and stuffed it with her 2 favorite chocolate brands Lindt and Ferrero Rocher. There's no space for the 25 so since we'll be down there for Christmas I plan on giving her a nice big Milka bar (another favorite) on Christmas day.
The painting is all us kids in the back of a tractor that Grandpa drove through the trees every time the cousins came to visit. The five little pompom hats show her 5 grandkids on our Christmas tractor ride. BTW I grew up in PNW coast in the redwoods. We didn't get snow except like once every 20 years.
