has any moms experienced this? i felt one gush of fluid and my underwear and pants were soaked. since then it’s been an hour and i haven’t felt much more come out but i am slightly cramping. i don’t wanna cry wolf and go in for no reason.

You should go in. This is how I went into labor with my first.. I had no signs and my water broke in the morning exactly how you described. My contractions didn’t start until like 5 hours after

My water broke with both kids. 
1st was at 38 weeks full blown like peeing myself. Contractions didn’t start for 7-8 hours? Had a 19 hour labor. 
2nd (just last week) my water broke again and was like peeing again and could not stop. Contractions started immediately and my little guy was born a few hours later! 
Definitely get checked, it’s no cost to get checked in L&D and it’s a simple test to see

My water broke with my first. I was told if I didn't start to have contractions within 4-6 hours then I would need to go in to be induced. You do have time though if you start contractions, you don't have to go to the hospital right away. I labored at home for 20 hours before going in. My total labor/delivery from water breaking to birth was 48.5 hours. As long as baby's heart rate is good, your BP is good, and you aren't developing a fever then you can continue to labor as you like.

My sister's water broke with her second and she still didn't get contractions so they had to put her on pitocin to help her contract. If you think your water has broken I'd definitely call or go in. You only have so many hours after your water breaks before it puts you at risk of infection.
