weaning off of milk

any mamas tried weaning your babies off your breastmilk or formula yet? LO is 11 months in a few days and still dependent on nursing.. i’ve tried offering almond milk (don’t want to do cows milk) and she is not happy about it and I plan to wean her off at 1 but seems like it’s going to be difficult..
