When did/do you plan on telling work about baby?

I don’t know when to tell work..last baby I didn’t have to worry so much about because we were working from home. I hate telling work because then often times coworkers treat you differently. I just don’t want to deal with it 😬😬

I told my boss the day after I told my husband. I’m a security guard, and there are calls I can’t respond to being pregnant (spills, odors, altercations), so she needed to know early.

I told my immediate supervisor after my first hospital stay ( I suffer from Hypermesis) I didn’t tell Human Resources until a few days ago. Just because I wanted to know what my maternity leave options I had.

I just told them at 14 weeks. I figured I’d help myself out for preparing and planning my maternity leave by giving them 6 months notice

I was going to wait a few more weeks but I ended up telling my boss because we found out our board meeting was back in person and I did not feel comfortable being in a room with 30 ppl all different jobs, some flying in from other states for 4-5 hours. I still haven’t told my team because I’ve only told my parents and two siblings so far.
