Leaving fiancé because he won’t do anything as a family?

I’m really at my end. Please give me your input. I wanted to take the kids to a really nice Christmas light show that’s a couple hours away. I thought it would be nice to do as a family. He did not. He got mad because I was acting disappointed that he wouldn’t go. Basically said he’s “not going two hours for a stupid light show”. This isn’t the only time. He doesn’t want to do anything with me. Won’t even Christmas shop for the kids with me. Nothing. And it wasn’t always like this. I’m tired of being together but feeling like a single parent because I do most things without him.

I would honestly try counseling first. There could be a reason why he acts like this aside from just being selfish or dismissive.

That's really sad. I don't really like doing any stuff either, but when you are a family, that's part of what you do for them, and actually share life with your partner- instead of just doing your own thing all the time. 
I understand why you don't want to be with someone who doesn't want to participate and do things with you.

My ex was exactly like this. Pissed me off so much! He would drain the fun out of everything. He wasn't like it in the beginning either, he just got horrible as years went by, it's so much more fun for me and the kids now that we've left

I just say women need to think beyond emotions and make sure they calculate any life altering decisions. You’re basically saying should i move forward into single motherhood and have to do daily life and responsibilities of my children alone because dad refuses to engage in fun activities with the family? And if he is emotionally unavailable and unwilling to do couples therapy or family counceling….if he not dealing with underlying issues…. and refuses to engage then thats a decision u will need to think through critically and access all aspects of life and then make the decision.

And that’s your cue to leave. 
But, have you two sat down and had this talk before? 
If not, try it. Tell him how you feel, what your expectations for your family is. That you would like for him to participate in family events and spend time as a family and enjoy little holidays, trips, holiday shopping, etc. 
If he doesn’t care to, or repeats the same thing after the conversation…then walk away. No one should feel as if they are a single parent in a relationship/marriage.
