Nipple thrush?

Can anyone share their experience with nipple thrush? How did it feel? How did you figure out you had it? Did it cause your LO to refuse nursing, either altogether or periodically?

I have burning/tingling sensations in my breasts. Sometimes sharp pains. Sometimes when my LO latches on it's so painful I nearly cry. There was a period a couple weeks ago my nipples were so painful all the time that I basically walked around shirtless. Sometimes they're still sensitive, but I'm thinking maybe I've just got used to the pain 🤷
