This is my second baby, Im 38+2 he scheduled my induction for next Monday night, but I asked him to try a membrane sweep also to try and help things along without the induction.

I am 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Baby is -4 station wise. He said he tried to do the best sweep he could but that baby is still kind of high up, I have been cramping and feel a lot of pressure, its been like 2 hours. I also had some mucous like discharge as well since the sweep. Is there anything else I can do now that I got the sweep that helped anyone else go into labor. Also any success stories w a situation similar to mine?

*Also pretty sure hes scheduling my induction for this soon because he is estimating my son is 8lbs now.
