Pregnant teachers out there?

Any pregnant teachers out there? Y’all okay?? 😂 
I teach public school pre-K, am 29+3, and am standing and lifting constantly. What are you other teachers doing to help pace yourselves, manage your sanity, drink enough water (bc it almost doesn’t feel worth the need for bathroom breaks), survive in a Covid-infested environment, etc? Do you ever sit down? God speed ladies, it’s a tough job while pregnant!

30 weeks teaching third grade! Luckily my kids are super understanding that I can’t move around a lot, if I ever drop anything they immediately pick it up for me , they constantly ask “if baby is hungry” (and then offer me they’re food) or they’ll say that I shouldn’t bend so I don’t hurt the baby, or they’ll tell each other not to scream so they don’t scare the baby 😂 they’re super cute about it thankfully 🙏🏻

6th grade teacher here! Currently 31+2 days and on winter break. I wanted to work until my due date but it’s becoming so painful to walk around.

I’m an elementary speech therapist👋🏻 get a stool from Walmart so you can sit! I have a few minutes between students so I’m lucky with bathroom breaks but another teacher has people cover her all the time! I cover bathroom breaks for her too haha.  My sister is a 4th grade teacher and when she was pregnant she would wheel around her classroom in her desk chair 😂

Pk-12 Art teacher here. It has been tough. I move around the room to check on students but sit down when I go table to table. Thankfully I've had some awesome co workers who help out if I need anything heavy lifted. I'm 32+1 today. Honestly I think the most stressful thing for me right now is getting ready to be gone. We have a major sub shortage, and while I have someone lined up for my maternity leave. I have no idea if they will even be in my room that much. Since I teach Art, my sub always gets pulled to another room. It gets me so frustrated trying to figure out lesson plans. I have no idea if my students will even get anyone for their class period.

My mom has been an elementary teacher for my entire life (she’s been teaching close to 30 years, now is a principal for 4 years) and she has worked through to her due date for every one of her kids except me (July baby) and I’m the oldest of 5. I honestly have no idea how you all do it… I’m exhausted with just my toddler at home and I’m 31 weeks 😅😅

I’m thankfully a high school teacher so less lifting for me, I make the kiddos do it 😂 but seriously it’s exhausting!!!! I’ve resorted to rolling around in my chair mostly because I cannot stand for an 80m period haha
