Upper lip tie?

What do y’all think? She will latch decently for awhile but then comes off and tries to latch back on and smacks around at first.  I’ve tried to talk with her pediatrician but she wasn’t too helpful but I’m pretty sure it’s a lip tie.  Just wondering how bad.

Go to a pediatric dentist. They will be able to evaluate.

Yup that’s how my son had it then when his teeth grew in he had a gap... when he started walking he fell and busted his upper lip and it ripped his lip tie. He doesn’t have a lip tie anymore and his gap closed. I mentioned it to his pediatrician since before he had teeth but she wasn’t concerned because he was gaining weight and feeding fine. I say get a second opinion since you mentioned that baby latches then latches right off since it may be because of the lip tie. Hopefully they take care of it early on or it will accidentally get fix when they start walking...

Yes, I would get it check out. That's what my little one's looked like and we had a rough time breastfeeding. I didn't get it fixed until after we stopped breastfeeding. I wish I had done it sooner.

Pediatrician will always tell you “ it’s nothing to be concerned about so I wouldn’t do anything “ my daughter has a lip tie and that’s what my pediatrician told me . If you want to remove it you have to go to a dentist that will laser it off

I breastfed till 2 years my daughter with a lip tie like that and my son also has one not as pronounced breastfed him till 7 months they didnt stop us but for some I know it can be hard. My kids pediatrician recommended against doing anything so we didnt
