Can I use a mesh crib liner on outside of crib to block the pacifiers from falling?

I know they said any type of bumper isn't safe but what about outside of crib?

I’m wondering if she’s throwing it out intentionally to get you to come In the room? Seems strange it would fall out of the crib spontaneously so many times… 🤔

Nope. Just scatter a bunch around and when they are gone, they are gone. She will learn. At this point, it’s probably a game to get you to come back in.

I used a mesh bumper with both babies on the inside of crib. They weren’t in the crib until they were rolling over so very capable of moving away from something they didn’t want to be at. I never considered putting it in the outside but honestly that would make it easier to change crib bedding too. Every time I changed the sheet and stopped mattress back in crib it fit so snugly it crinkled up the bumper and I’d have to pull it back up above mattress if that makes sense. That’s part of why I took it off eventually.

We have a mesh bumper on the inside. You can still breathe through it even when it's folded multiple times so I was comfortable with it. We got it when my son was around 1 as well but I'm about to take it out because he moves around so much now that it just gets smashed down.
