Fetal EKG
My doctor has scheduled me for the EKG in January, as IVF babies apparently have a higher risk for heart defects. Is this pretty common (i know it’s currently recommended by AHA but could be updated) & have any of y’all had this done recently? I’m not sure what my insurance covers yet, but my friend who goes to the same hospital said any specialist visits like that can always be denied & I’m just curious whether this EKG is a money grab. Very quick initial reading online says that it may not be necessary if it’s a rather low risk pregnancy.
