When you announced

Im currently just over 12 weeks and still haven’t told anyone. I’m curious if anyone else has also held off? For everyone that has already announced, when did you announce and how? I know how I want to just afraid to tell anyone so I haven’t yet.

I typically waited until around 10-11 weeks always and it was the same this time, I announced 1 day right before I turned 12 weeks. I’m 12 weeks and 2 days now. I was a bit more afraid this time because of responses on having another baby soooo soon (our third baby was born in mid 2020) but the responses were more positive than anything :)

Oh my gosh! We told my mom right away. I tell her everything lol 😂 we told my husbands family at 9 weeks. I told my work right away- but I did that for my first too and I’m so excited. And then today we announced on social media (11w 6d)

Yep I’m still waiting I’m almost 13 weeks. I typically like to keep things to myself. Of course my husband knows but none of our family does.

I’m currently 14 weeks and five days I will not be telling anyone. When I start showing people will know. Sometimes sharing something good means keeping it yourself for awhile. I’ve only told closed friends and family.

We told my niece/best friend at about 8 weeks because we were bursting and had to tell someone! Told my sister at about 9 weeks and the rest of our immediate family at 10 weeks. I’ve had a particularly rough first trimester so it was getting hard to hide it in front of family. If that wasn’t the case we probably would’ve waited to tell them until 12 weeks or so. 
Social media doesn’t know yet, planning on making that announcement when I’m 14 weeks on Christmas!

I’m 14 weeks. All of our family and friends have known for awhile. I told my coworkers around 9 or 10 weeks. I’m glad they know now because this is my third and I’m definitely starting to show. We haven’t announced on social media yet but everyone in our circle knows. The only reason we haven’t announced on social media is because I haven’t gotten around to taking pics or anything for an announcement lol

We told my in laws around 9 weeks because we see them a lot and I was very nauseas/sick. My husband told his brother when they spent a weekend hanging out at like 11 weeks and he told his wife(we knew he would and we’re ok with it). Then we told the rest of his family at Thanksgiving by having my in laws wear tshirts that had 9 and 10 on them (twins and it’s the 9th and 10th grandchildren lol) then we had lunch with my dad the next weekend and my mom and stepdad flew up this past weekend. We told them the same way. I had “early Christmas presents” for them. The first one was a onesie that said guess what and the second present was another onesie that said guess what else. It was super cute with both of them. Now the news is trickling to extended family at a good pace. I’m not on social media and my husband doesn’t post much so it will be awhile until we post something there. Oh we told our very close friends as we saw them. Some before 12 weeks, others after. It’s all on how comfortable you are sharing though! What was right for us may not be right for you. ♥️

We told our immediate family the first few weeks we found out as we wanted to do it in person and it was our only opportunity to.. for my parents and sister I put the pregnancy test in a box and gave it to them.. for my brother I did it over the phone as he lives almost 5000 miles away and I said "maybe we will come to visit after the baby is born" and let him figure it out and freak out over the phone haha for my in laws, we gathered them all up in the same room and my husband very simply said.. we have some news.. and pointed at my belly 😂🤦🏻‍♀️. After 12 weeks I began telling my friends, some by just handing them the scan photos, others by just coming out with.. hey we are expecting number 2! And that was that.. this week (16 weeks) we will be posting our social media announcement
