Anyone's baby born at 33-34 weeks?

Did they have to go to NICU and for long? I'm just looking for personal experiences. I've been having contractions since 30 weeks and I think baby is coming early

Depends on the baby. I’ve had friends who had their babies around 34-35 weeks and their babies didn’t need time in the NICU. Also had friends who had babies at 36-37 weeks and their babies needed NICU time.

I know it’s later than that but my boy came at 37 weeks and spent 4 nights in NICU.

My girl was born at 35+4 and spent 7 days in the nicu.
I was told any baby born before 36 weeks has to be evaluated in the nicu.

My baby boy was born on October 31 2021 but was die December 17th 2021. He was born at 33 weeks. I had low fluid and he was measuring small. One OB appointment he wasnt "meeting their criteria" on the monitor and they sent us to the hospital (definitely not the first time this happened). We were in the hospital a few days and i was hooked up to a NST almost 24/7. Two days later they started noticing drops in his heartbeat and what could have been tiny contractions. Eventually the doctors rushed me to an emergency csection. He was born 3 pounds 7 ounces. They had given me steriod shots to help his long development which helped him hardly need any breathing support. They allowed me to look and touch his cheek for a few minutes about an hour after my csection. The whole time while he was in the incubator. Then it was 12 hours before i could see him again. 
One thing ill tell you is that the whole process seems so slow. They will meet milstones, have their ups and downs. And no matter how great their process is, at the time it will seem slow. Because all you want is for them to be healthy and home with you. 
It'll be weird having a NICU visit a part of your everyday routine. But heal and get the sleep while you can. 
My boy is 7 weeks old today and just hit 6 pounds. He left the hospital on Nov 25 (Thanksgiving) after spending 4 weeks in the NICU. Time went by so slow yet so fast. 
Learn all you can while in the NICU. Learn how to read the charts and all the tec they will have your baby hooked up to. Monitors and alarms will be going off quite often but you will learn that its not always bad, or even anything at all. Just one of the sticky leads attached to him isnt all the way on and its upsetting the machine. Or the vitamins are done being pumped into him and the machine is screaming at you to let you know. 
I wont tell you not to worry, because you will. I did. But just know that your child is getting the best care it can be. Remember to take care of yourself to. To let others help you or to express how you feel. And heal.

My twins came at 32+6. They were in the NICU for 16 days. They had no complications. The nurses wanted them to graduate from the feeding tube in order for them to be released to us.

I know its later but my son was born 35+2 and we stayed in hospital on the normal ward for 3 days then went home. He was jaundice and 5lb 6oz but no other problems. He tried to come early around 32w but they gave me steroids or something to keep him in a bit longer 😅

My son was born at 35+2 and tested better than some babies born full term. They had him stay in an intermediate NICU which was not the actual NICU but he also wasn't allowed in my room. He was hooked up to heart monitors and his feedings were monitored for 3 days and then he came home.  They said every baby is extremely different. My cousin had a baby at 38 weeks that needed NICU time whereas my son born 5 weeks early didn't.

My last was 37 weeks. 5lb 1oz. NO Nicu time. They gave me steroid shots before he was born to strengthen his lungs. I think they definitely helped because he was a (tiny) beast from get go!
