Attached is the flyer for our 2021 Holiday Event for pregnant and recently postpartum (up to 18 months) Black mothers/birthing people and partners. The event is this Thursday from 4:30-6:30 pm CST. We will have 5 speakers that touch on support (social support, providers, fathers), grief and loss, NICU families, maternal mental health, and the beauty of Black birthing. Speakers include representatives from Birth in Color RVA, Fathers Matter Nola, Saul's Light Foundation, Shades of Blue Project, and internationally acclaimed poet Sunni Patterson. There will also be two community members sharing their birth stories. In addition to the amazing information and education, we will have multiple raffle prize giveaways, including a special raffle for fathers who join.
