Does marijuana effect fertility?

Question

My husband and I are both 29, he is a heavy smoker. I don’t smoke nor drink anymore, since trying to get pregnant. Does him smoking 3+ times a day effect his little swimmers? I’m worried this is effecting our chances of getting pregnant. We have been trying for only 3 months though I’ve been off birth control since July.

The doctors will say it does but it’s either you have a sperm issue or you dont. I know some of the heavy smokers with 8 kids and non smokers with none.

No it doesn't. My husband is a heavy smoker too and has been for about 20 years now, if it effected anything I wouldn't have 3 kids under 3 years old

Doubt it. My fiance is 20 years older than me, drinks mountain dew, poor diet, smokes ciggs and marijuana for over 20 years and I smoke as well and have PCOS and we conceived twice within two months both times and the second time I was even on birth control and had a burst cyst.

My husband uses occasionally and I got pregnant just fine. I was also a heavy user pre pregnancy.

A lot of  people will say yes but my husbands numbers are insane… so in our case no. Not a problem for him.

May be an issue for some as weed effects everyone’s body chemistry differently. For my husband and I it had not been an issue though

Likely not, but it could.
My husband and I are both cannabis users and the cycle I got pregnant, we were both using much more heavily than normal (I had just lost my brother).

I’ve been on birth control the past years but when i got off to start trying I was lucky with in a month. We a both heavy weed smokers (I stopped obviously). But both kids we have it only took 1-2 months.
