How old were you children when you went back to work?

I am currently as SAHM to my 9 year old stepson and my two daughters who are almost 2 years old and 10 weeks old. 
I've seen the perfect job that I really want to apply for.
My question is, how old were your children when you returned to work? 
I'm in 2 minds. I really want to apply, partly for my own sanity 😆 but it's also the job that I've always wanted to do!  My daughters are still so young and I know I'd feel guilty being away from them and I am fortunate enough that my partner earns enough so that I can stay home.

I’m going back to work when my son is 3 months old. Imma be real honest here and say I CANT WAIT. Being a stay at home mom is not it for me. I hate having to ask my husband for money and I want to be able to actually eat food without my baby getting mad cuz I put him down

My daughter was 13 weeks old when I went back to work. She’s 7 months now and the sweetest baby. I did extensive research and site visits to find a daycare that we love! Working is better for both of us. Mommy is happy and fulfilled, baby girl gets socialization and a happy mommy.  
It’s not for everyone and there are pros and cons to both. Do what’s best for your family.

Apply for the job! Maybe you could ask for a 4 day week. That’s what I’m doing and I absolutely love it. I thought I would miss my bub (1 year) but the balance feels right for me and she’s having some great learning and social experiences at daycare. Good luck!

6 months. I would have lost my shit staying home longer than that. I would much prefer to use that time now when he’s actually fun.

I went back to work when my son was 9 months old. He went to nursery from 9 months and then moved up to preschool at the age of 2. X

I went back to work after 2months with my 2 youngest kids. If you have the family support to watch them then go back to work. I’ve never had to put my kids in daycare but ppl do it all the time. Dont let the horror stories upset you. Do your research ask around with other mom’s in the area. Being a SAHP is alot on both sides. If you have the opportunity to do something for yourself then go for it! Alot of women rely(not saying you are) on their husband’s income then when the chickens come home to roost they are wondering how to handle it. Have your own money and goals outside of being a wife and mom. Hell if you don’t like working so much then quit and be there for your babies. You never know what may happen until you do it.
