Christmas side dish ideas?

NONE of the traditional sides! 
Mine and my husband's family are always so hyped about the food I bring to gatherings and they rave about it. 
I have several dishes I usually rotate through, but I am wanting to do something new this year. I want something that's going to be pretty impressive and super delicious!

Also love this recipe, though I like to mix 1/2 broccoli with 1/2 cauliflower. I can post the directions in the comments.

1. Baked Irish Potatoes with butter; 
2. Coleslaw; 
3. Sticky Chicken Lollipops basted in honey soy sauce drizzle; 
4. Steamed collard greens; 5. Steamed vegetable mix (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, green peppers, yellow peppers, red peppers, orange peppers, red onions, spring onions)

I don’t know if it would interest you, but google “pumpkin roll.” It’s a dessert, but it turns out really pretty if you plate it well.

This one is simple, but both sides of my family love it, kid friendly. You can also use fruit cocktail if you'd prefer.

Cheese and bacon potato bake, roasted kumara and pumpkin salad (kumara: kinda like sweet potato)and grilled corn on the cob. Its summer where I live at Christmas so its always BBQ.

My grandma makes fried zucchini and cauliflower slices as an appetizer. She also makes breaded thin sliced sandwich steaks. It’s always a huge hit and gets eaten very fast. My mother in law makes homemade Mac and cheese with a bechamel sauce as it’s base and the family talks about it all year round. She only makes it once a year so there’s great anticipation for it lol
