First Pap Smear tomorrow

Maggie • Nothing to see here! Just trying to get by as a woman who knows virtually nothing about her body, nor her bodily functions.

So, I’ve been putting this off since I turned 21 back in April. I’m going for my first Pap smear tomorrow morning, and I’m kinda nervous about it, but I know it’ll fine and be over quick. I’ve read that you shouldn’t douche, use spermicidal foam, or use any kind of flush that could wash away any abnormal cells that might detect a problem during the exam, but can I at least wash with JUST water? Or is that excluded as well?
