Beautiful but frustrating delivery

My labor and delivery was beautiful and fast ! I’m just wondering did anyone else have to hold their baby in .

When I gave birth to my daughter back in October, there wasn’t a doctor at the hospital. So we had to wait for her to get there , I received an epidural. So I felt extreme pressure and was not able to use my muscles to hold her in . The L&D nurses told me they could not deliver the baby , I was re watching the video tonight . I realized that I had waited over 35min for the doctor to arrive. her head was literally right there , and in the video the nurses closed my legs !! Looking back so much could have gone wrong 😑, I remember being annoyed and stressed . At one point it even felt like the nurses were trying to push her in or prevent her from coming out . I also remember my husband being extremely upset cause it felt like the doctor was never going to get there . Eventually I open my leg and said she’s falling out !! and the nurse ran to grab my baby the doctor was still not there ! Just curious did other women have to wait for a doctor if so how long ?
