We moved right when she turned 5 months and the first night her crib was set up in her room and I hadn’t gotten around to the bassinet in ours. So we tried it out and she slept great, been in her own room since

My son starts out in his own crib then sleeps with us after he wakes up the first time.

In her room right across the hall, in a crib, pretty much since birth. She hated the bedside bassinet and we’ll never have to worry about transitioning her to another room. Works for us.
