PERIOD UNDERWEAR?!

Question

OK! I just came across these period underwear. The website says that you can wear them and not have to wear pads or tampons or anything. I am wondering if anyone has tried them, and whether or not they work. I have a very heavy flow and I also have psoriasis. I sometimes have flares during my menstrual cycle and having to wear pads irritates my inverse psoriasis between my legs. I would absolutely love to not have to worry about pads or tampons irritating my skin or making me hurt due to endometriosis. 
Has anyone tried these? 
Are they legit? 
Is it worth spending almost $40 for a pair of washable, reusable period undies??

Yes I've used these! I didn't have a super heavy flow before getting pregnant, but I got the "extra" absorbent ones and they lasted me all day at work. No leaks, no smell. Super easy to wash, I just brought them into the shower, rinsed them out then three them in the normal wash! I do wish they were more affordable, but sounds like it might be worth it to give them a try!!

I have these!
Not the exact same ones and I don’t trust them on their own during my period, but I feel so much more comfortable on my period when I wear them!
I can wear just a tampon and not worry about leaking.
I also like that they’re a pack of 3 and much less expensive than the other brands!

Just ordered two pairs of these! I checked out Thinx, and it looks like Modibodi can hold even more! (I tend to have super heavy periods)

I have a very heavy flow for two or three days of my period and on those days use a menstrual cup with the period undies by Thinx. The cup was a game changer! Made my worst days totally manageable!  On lighter days, the period undies work great on their own plus they also work really well to absorb sweat when I run or lift at the gym so no sweat stains!

They have a line at Target as well that is a little more affordable!
They work pretty well, on my heaviest days I prefer to wear them as a backup for tampon leaks, the gusset is very absorbent and stays completely dry but if you’re sitting in a weird position and blood gets on the hem on the side that part does stay wet. Also take into account that the super underwear I think holds 2? tampons worth of blood, so it’s not an all day solution, if you’re using them straight up you might need to change at some point. But I have heard of some non-tampon users stretching the effectiveness by lining them with a pad and then tossing the pad when it’s full and using the thinx the rest of the day. Having a few pairs is helpful too so you don’t have to do laundry every day.

i bought these because they were a bit more affordable! i also saw some at Walmart that i bought that were $14.99, they offered less coverage in my opinion which was unfortunate. a less environmentally friendly product i love the always disposable underwear

I don’t remember what brand I got but I bought mine off Amazon and I love them! I have a super heavy flow so usually 1-2 days each cycle I’ll have to change them halfway through the day but I’ve never have a bleed through. I’ll admit I’ve come close but overall I’m very impressed and I refuse to use anything else lol.
