Stopping night feedings

How???

I make sure he gets plenty of formula during the day so that he shouldn't need any during the night. He gets about 30-32oz (5x 6ish oz bottles) during the day from 7am - 7pm. His pediatrician said he shouldn't really be eating more than that.

Unfortunately, he wakes usually 2 times during the night and cries until he gets a bottle. I keep them to 4oz each, but he truly demolishes them.

I've tried to just not feed him and hold/rock him instead and he'll fall into a light sleep, but wake right up when I try to put him in his crib and start crying all over again.

He does fall asleep on his own in his crib after a solid bedtime routine.

I know it could be much worse, but he used to only wake once a night.
