Spermicide Condoms? Effective?

I’m trying to come off my BC pill as I am not liking the way it makes me feel. I’m trying to get away from hormonal forms of BC. I’m not totally sold on the copper iud either. I want to be protected, because we do not need a child right now, but I don’t want to risk my health either. Suggestions?

I definitely recommend condoms. If it weren’t for my cramps, I wouldn’t have started the pill. Previous to the pill, he wore condoms for over three years. Only ripped once because of friction (make sure you use a water based lube when needed)!

Id try the mini pill I had no side effects while on it and I suffer from anxiety and depression. Definitely would go on it again when I am not trying to conceive

You should be fine with just condoms, as long as your partner wears them the whole time and use them correctly with lube they’re 98% effective, i used them for 2 years before going on the pill and no problems
