Lucas for a Baby Boy?

Well, my husband loves the name Lucas for our son, but I’m not sure about it. I don’t know anyone named like that, maybe is for a reason? What do you think, my worries are that he could bully at school for his name 🧐

Seems like I’m in the minority here, but I don’t like it. Sounds like Mucus. I prefer Luca.

I think Lucas is a pretty common name now (not so common that I wouldn't choose it, but common enough that everyone has heard of it and knows how to pronounce it etc.) I think it's a great choice!

It reminds me of Luca from the Disney movie, for me that’s a positive correlation and can’t think of any reason he’d be bullied for the name

In the US it’s a very very popular, super common name nowadays. He wouldn’t be bullied for it, but he might need to go by Lucas Last Initial sometimes.
