What do you mommies do?

Hi all... my husband have some toxic parents and we will be moving about an hour 30 mins away.. I don't have family close by so how do you all manage the kids when you have prenatal appointments or dental appointments? I no longer want to ask my in laws for help. So how do you manage with no help nearby?? My husband won't be home until 430. So everything will be close by then.

I'd check Facebook for the town or area your moving to and see if it has a mom's page. Can build friendships with other moms in the area, get recommendations for drop in daycares. Also check local library for mommy and me classes and activities. You're going to have to make connections and build your own support structure.
