Baby items …. Recall?

Question

Why is it that they pulled the owlet sock off the shelf’s and stopped selling it? Or recalled it? 
When I get pregnant again with my rainbow baby I wanted one Bc I found my NewBorn not breathing 2 months ago and I don’t want that to happen again.

It wasn't recalled and nothing is wrong with it. The FDA wants it to be approved as a medical device

I'm not 100% but there is nothing wrong with the owlet as far as how it works so it wasn't recalled but something with the fda and how they want it labeled as a medical device? I think some people were using it in place of actual medical devices. You'd have to Google it. I never used one
