Did you bring a pump to the hospital after birth?

Hey everyone,

I'm due with my second baby in early March. I had issues with low milk supply with my first and it got to the point my lactation consultant and son's pediatrician told me to stop because my son was losing too much weight. He didn't have latch issues it was all me, he would suckle for 40 minutes and never swallow. I tried to just EBF for a few weeks and then was highly encouraged to supplement and eventually told to fully formula feed. I got PPD because I felt like I failed him. Long story short I really am hoping to be successful this time around and my friend suggested I start right after birth to pump between feedings. Was anyone else more successful the second pregnancy and did you bring your pump to the hospital? If so, should I bring my hand pump or electric pump? Any other tips would be appreciated.
