Experiences with cats and babies

I just need to hear some stories about your babies and your animals. I have 2 cats and my grandparents are making me feel like shit for keeping them with a baby around (march 2022). I told her you don't just get rid of family members, we would obviously all adjust. But she's being a bit of a dick.
