Should I get my 1.5 year old a pool or a trampoline ?

We don’t have a very big yard but I want something fun for my little guy! The pool would only be able to be used in summer and a trampoline could be left out all year or I can get both and put the trampoline away in the garage for summer? Opinions?

That age doesn’t need a very big pool or trampoline. Get a slightly smaller version of both.

If you own your house having a trampoline can increase your homeowners insurance. In our area at least

Trampolines have been shown to not be good on childrens hips and knees. 
Children under 6 are not meant to withstand repetitive jumping.
Plus, the AAP strongly discourages trampolines at home. 
I’d get the pool.

I wouldn’t recommend a trampoline for such a little baby. I broke my wrist when I was like 9 or 10 falling off one. A 1.5 year old could get seriously hurt even on a small trampoline.
A kiddie pool could technically be used all year if you didn’t mind bringing it inside lol. Just of course be sure to practice safety measures, ideally baby should even get swimming lessons. It only takes a couple of inches of water for a child to drown.

No to the trampoline. Multiple broken toes and a knee reconstruction with lifelong problems with that knee. I'll need a knee replacement eventually. I'm only 41.

I have been seeing horrible things about trampolines for kids online and the number of breaks it causes. My 4 y/o has a big one and I’m packing it away cuz it freaks me out.
