Is adoption unethical?

I keep seeing adoptees on TikTok talk about how adoption is unethical, it should be rare, and they have even compared it to human trafficking, and that adoption agencies prey on teen mothers who are naive and aren’t fully aware of the adoption process . I don’t know anyone who was adopted so I have no real insight on this, I just want to understand why people have this mindset. I think it’s gross that white children are considered more wanted than POC children and that apparently they are more expensive than POC. Is adoption unethical or can it be a good thing?
