Grandma's project
I need help. I have only ever made a few quilts, most of them pretty simple baby quilts and one I made for my mother with a Dalian pattern. My problem is this, in 2019 my grandma passed away. While going through her belongings we found partially cut and sewn fabric for a quilt she was making. Naturally being the only current family member with a sewing machine, I inherited all of her sewing things, her machine and the quilt pieces There is a massive amount of fabric here and it is quite overwhelming. I honestly put it away because of this and grief (it smelled like her). Well silly me went looking for buttons today and found it in the back of a closet. I think I worked out what she was trying to do, but it looks like there is enough fabric here for 2 or three full size quilts. There Is more than enough for one king size quilt. There are 48 of the square panels and the measure 14 and 5/8th inchs. I haven't measured the cream or blue fabric as it's petty big (I don't think the white was intended for this project). I'd really appreciate any other insight. Thanks.
