Approximately how early before your period can you take a pregnancy test and get an accurate result? My period is due tomorrow, can I take one tonight? (early morning) Only asking because my nipples have been sensitive the past few days and that usually never happens before my period.

Update.
The pregnancy test I took yesterday morning when my period was due still came out negative. So I waited till this morning, still no period. Fingers crossed 🤞

Some tests say they are accurate up to 6 days before your missed period- I got my first positive the day before, and then all pink dye tests were negative until I was over a week late- which made the fact that we’re having twins even more surprising 😂

I tested 4 days before mine and was very faintly positive. Next morning was darker. I’d say you could test now

Update!
So I just took the test and it was negative. No faint line, just negative. I'm having cramps now and some back pain. My period is still due today so I will have to see, and try the digital test in the morning. Fingers crossed 🤞
