I really don't think I would care about a swab up my nose for 5 seconds when I am pushing a melon sized head out of my vagina. You'll barely notice!

The test is really not bad and it's done in no time. My boys had to do it weekly for school. Also it's good for you to know you aren't putting your new born at risk of getting covid.

Prob not as u might be putting other ppl at risk if you’ve got covid and they don’t know. Or u may have to keep a mask on, if they do let u decline it. 
Personally I’d rather have the 2 second test and not have to keep a mask on. They’re awful at the best of times, I can’t imagine labouring and giving birth in one!
