Too soon to test?

I took an error test this morning so I went out to buy another. It’s not as visible to you all but I see a very faint positive line, today’s the day of my expected period and nothing. Should I wait it out some more days before I take another? This would be my second pregnancy, but with the first I got a positive the first day I was late.
