How do you AGREE a name?

Partner said he will leave it to me as we are unsure. Erm not helpful lol

I made a very big list of names & pestered my partner about it constantly lol. He wouldn’t naturally bring it up so I would have convos w him “well how about this name” “oh I really like this name” & eventually we agreed upon a name. It felt kind of meant to be, he would say he likes a lot of names but when we got the name we have chosen for good it was different. Kind of just like “yep, that’s the name”. But I had to put a lot of effort into it haha. My partner is a little more picky than I am. I had lots of names I liked.

I wish! We dont no what we are having yet and both agreed a name if its a girl but if its a boy we only had one name we both liked and we called our son that and now we both have a fave name and wont budge! So god nos how we will settle it because i dont like any other names, i think there will be less arguments if its a girl 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 xx

My husband and I sorted out names in an hour. We just named off names we liked and he chose the boy name I liked and I really loved his choice for a girl. And middle names were given in tribute to someone, like for the girl, we used his grandmas name who was the life line of the family.

It’s a challenge. Just throw names back and forth there is one you both like. For our second kid my husband vetoed every name I like, so I eventually came around to one of his choices.
