Should I suggest lunch with my dad? We haven't had a relationship in a while..

I 100% believe my step mom is a narcissist. And because of that I haven't been able to have a relationship with my dad in two years..I don't even get to see him.

I did get to go to their house for Christmas.. and since then my dad reached out to me and asked how work has been because I got promoted. I havnt responded yet.

..I would like to offer to have lunch with him to catch up. But the thing is, they got me a gift for Christmas that was purely a passive aggressive slap in the face. Not gonna go into detail on the gift unless asked because it's a long story. I expect that kind of behavior from her but I'm hurt that my dad would even go along with it. Nobody wins with a narccist. After 4 years of this crap I'm to the point I want to just cut ties with them both. But I know the only reason I want to do that is to make my dad wake up and see how toxic she is. I don't want to actually lose my dad. I'll probably just offer to have lunch and make my final decision based off wether or not he's allowed to go to lunch with his daughter.
