Tall baby!

Daughter is 34.25 inches tall! 98%

They say with girls you can estimate here adult height by doubling their 18 month height...so she should be tall like me as an adult

I will say, it rubbed me the wrong way when my pediatrician said she was as big as a 2.5 year old. Like I am 5'9", it would be highly inappropriate for someone to say I was as big as a man.

Idk I am displeased at how early shes being aged up. Averages are averages, not law, this is why babies grow on a curve. But then again this is the same pediatrician that when it was my husband who took the baby in for an appointment told him not to feed her fried and fast foods (he's a bigger dude...so yes she legit fat shamed him....cause shes never said anything like that to me)

Mine is 34” and 28lbs! And I’m 5’6” and 110 lbs, so she doesn’t get it from me 😂. I get what you mean about people thinking she’s older than she is, but don’t think that it’s bad that the doctor mentioned it. The fried food thing is definitely weird, though. They didn’t even ask me what she was eating at her appointment.

I totally get that. I’d probably be saying the same thing if my daughter was thin and they were commenting on that (I’ve always been skinny and it was hard growing up being made fun of for it). I guess for me it’s different since it’s such a novelty that I’m not used to yet. I’m sure eventually comments about people thinking she’s older will bug me, too.

For me they never really say much about food ... my husband they did I just hate the comments about her being older, as I am pretty tall, it gets old fast, I'm kind of protective of it..in this world where people treat you different for anything slightly out of norm
