When can I go off the pill?
I have been back on the pill for about three weeks now, and I already want to go off it again because of the horrible side effects. I have been on every single type of pill possible, but every time it gives me horrible acne. I took about a two year break from every birth control, so I thought maybe after “detoxing” I would give it another chance. After week one I noticed my skin getting horrible again.
After being on the pill for about two weeks, I got my period NOT on the “sugar pill” week. I’m on a very low estrogen dose, and I was supposed to get my period that week so I assume my body hasn’t had enough time to adjust and just carried on with it’s schedule.
Because I’m already on my period right now, can I just stop the pill now? Or should I wait until I start my actual “sugar” pills? I did some googling and apparently it’s fine to stop the pill whenever, but I don’t want to stop the pill and potentially make myself bleed more if it’s not necessary. Hopefully this makes sense :)
Side note- bf and I have been together long term and don’t really care about an unplanned pregnancy, but I just moved into a new apartment that wouldn’t be ideal for a baby rn which is why I went back on the pill to begin with. I’m not really too concerned, which is also why i don’t care if I go off the pill again I just want to make sure it’s safe.
