Daycare vs Staying home

My daughter is 3 months and may be starting day care in a week. This is my first baby and I’m so nervous about this. Not even sure if nervous is the word. I’m really a wreck!!! My husband and I are struggling (we have some $$ support from family), but they can only do so much. We always have enough diapers, wipes, clothes, food…everything for baby. Just struggle with things like car payment, insurance, credit cards….things like that. He would rather struggle through instead of me returning to work. I am a medical assistant & am afraid of returning to work because of covid, but I do get paid well. Really not sure what to do here. Is daycare worth the risk? I did visit them and also did research…found some good things and some minor violations, but no place is perfect I’m sure. Just need some advice from other Moms.
